Job Description
Job Objective
Personal Banker is responsible for deposit business growth through sale of liability products. Build profitable client relationships, maintain effective deposit portfolio management and standards of service quality in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Be a primary point of contact with all deposit clients;
identify potential deposit customers and develop business relationship to achieve individual & branch deposit targets.
Make daily sales calls to potential customers and keep log of all such visits/communication.
Ensure effective market coverage and customer reach. Maintain steady growth in market share.
Maintain deposit portfolio as per defined portfolio mix benchmarks
Meet internal service standards and ensure no service related complaints are received from customers.
Ensure compliance in sales, service, and delivery to customer particularly in context of Know Your Customer (KYC) & Anti Money Laundering (AML) in accordance with KBL policies.
Expertise in selling financial products
In-depth knowledge of liability products and services.
Strong analytical and customer service skills
Good at MS Office particularly in spreadsheet & word processing applications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Attributes
Bachelors degree in Banking/Finance/Management/Commerce/Economics; however Masters degree in these disciplines will also be considered.
One to three years banking/consumer lending experience preferred.
Expertise in selling financial products
In-depth knowledge of liability products and services.
Strong analytical and customer service skills
Good at MS Office particularly in spreadsheet & word processing applications
